“Be strong and of good courage.”

StrengthnCourage is a personal initiative that followed from the outbreak of Covid-19.

As the pandemic spread, it brought with it unprecedented challenges that most of us had not experienced and/or witnessed in our lifetimes. Whether individually or in our broader families, friend networks and communities, on a physical and/or mental, socioeconomic and/or financial basis. The world endured a global tsunami where it was difficult to see through to the other side of this wave and what it would leave behind.

What lessons will we carry with us?

The most powerful for me were about strength and courage.

This is a call to initiate a ripple of light in your community.

Me.

Commit to take on an active goal that takes you beyond your comfort level. If you are not a runner or a walker, sign up for a five miler. If you have never before ridden a bike on a trail or a horse, here is your chance. Don’t be overwhelmed; feel challenged, plus a little. Just make it physical (a six-hour gaming session is not the objective).

PS: Registrants will receive a free bumblebee SnC t-shirt following sign-up!

Us.

Two is better than one. Three is better than two. Bring in your family and/or friends so you don’t have to go it alone, and to inspire them to stretch their limits. Make it a block party of getting out there.

The multiplier effect is starting to take hold...

Them.

Sometimes we focus so much within so we do not see those without. As part of your pledge to StrengthnCourage, I encourage taking a step to help a charity or local cause.

For 2023, my support goes to https://educationafrica.org/united-states-of-america/. Your donation will assist the amazing EA team with their early learning development and music programs. Their results are truly inspirational, and life changing.

If you prefer not to make a donation, consider stepping in to coach a local kids’ sports club or to sign on as a mentor. It doesn’t take much to make a difference.

And that is how the light gets in.
